Service Description

Get crafty and learn how to sew with a series of fun classes with Reverse and Change! This sewing course is especially designed for parents wanting to introduce the world of sewing to their child. The class will be held every Friday for a duration of 4 weeks from 4.00pm-5.30pm in Reverse and Change Sewing Studio. Every 4 weeks, a new course will commence and you will have the opportunity to make different items. Learn how to use a sewing machine, make a tote bag with your loved one with use of our sewing equipment and expert guidance. Recommended for ages 6 plus. What To Expect: Week 1 - An Introduction to Sewing & Basic Stitches Week 2 - Learn about different fabrics & how to sew buttons on Week 3 - Design and Sew Your Own Tote Bag Week 4 - Complete your project and take home with you! This is a great opportunity to introduce sewing to your child, learn a new skill and get creative! The class is run by Christina Corley who has a real passion for upcycling and has her own business making keepsakes from loved ones clothing. Duration: 1.5 Hours every Friday 4.00pm-5.30pm for a duration of 4 weeks. Price £100.00 for 1 adult and 1 child for 4 weeks. Max Attendee’s Per Session: 4 Adults & 4 Children What is included? • Sewing machines and basic sewing tools provided to use although if you would like to bring your own sewing machine in you are welcome to do so. • A selection of fabrics and threads will be available for you to choose from for the project. If you would prefer to bring your own fabric or you can buy additional fabrics from the re-use centre. • Tea, coffee, and biscuits!
